Fulford, R. (2007). An Explorative Study of the Ongoing Management of Operational Enterprise Resource Planning Applications. In the Proceeding of the Conference on Information Management and Internet Research (CIMIR). Perth, Australia: Edith Cowan University.

Abstract

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications are operational much longer than traditional IS applications, this has given rise to the need to manage the significant initial and ongoing investment throughout the applications' operational life. This paper outlines the findings of five case studies of operational ERP applications management. The case studies have examined expenditure, benefits management, as well as upgrade and development decisions and issues.
