Abstract

Over recent years, a range of approaches to Christian education (CE) has been suggested and discussed (e.g. Seymour 1997). Most of these approaches have been grounded in theory rather than empirical analysis. Analysis of the results of the National Survey on Christian Education (NSCE) conducted in Australia in 2000, however, has provided data which helps to rectify this concern.
