Clint Bracknell is a Vice-Chancellor's Teaching and Research Fellow at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Professor Bracknell explains that an emotional reaction to song can help people connect with the language. He states, “Old songs are useful in language revitalisation because they have been composed by fluent speakers and offer insights into poetic use of language.”
