Author Biography

Amee Morgans BA, BAppSci (Hons), PhD, GCHE

Dr Amee Morgans is a Research Fellow and Lecturer with the Department of Community Emergency Health and Paramedic Practice at Monash University. Amee teaches research and evidence based medicine to the Bachelor of Emergency Health and MICA students. Amee's PhD research investigated patient decision making in prehospital health emergencies, and was awarded the Vice Chancellor's commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence. Current areas of research interest include patient perspectives, patient flow through health services, allocation of prehospital emergency health care resources, ethics in prehospital research, and community based mental health resources. Amee has been a member of the Monash University Research Ethics Committee since 2003.
