Brendan joined the Melbourne based Metropolitan Ambulance Service (MAS) as a paramedic in 2004, after spending several years in the Military and Information Technology industries.
He completed his Diploma in Ambulance and Paramedic Studies at Monash University, Melbourne, in 2007 and also holds qualifications in Computer Science (BSc) from the University of Melbourne, and Diplomas in Government and Operations Management from the Royal Military College of Duntroon.
During the winter months, Brendan volunteers as a Ski Patroller with the Mount Hotham Ski patrol, and his interests include snow sports, squash, indoor soccer and rock climbing.
Brendan is keen to further develop his prehospital emergency qualifications and has a professional interest in the provision of remote emergency prehospital services both within Australia and abroad.
