Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a 2.5 Gb/s reconfigurable time-spread/wavelength-hopping OCDMA encoder/decoder structure. This structure employs an ptoVLSI processor and an array of delay lines for wavelength and time coding, respectively. The structure demonstrates a flexible code assignment capability and excellent code recognition.
