Abstract
To improve the level of integration of ICT within learning programmes In schools will, among other things, need school-based professional learning programmes and support structures for teachers. This paper reports on a model that has been developed and implemented by the Centre for Schooling and Learning Technologies at Edith Cowan University with schools with which it has partnership relationships that include pre-service teaching practicum and research. While the model has been successful for the schools involved It raises questions for Universities, school systems and government agencies concerning the need to provide such opportunities for all schools and all teachers and within the training for all pre-service teachers.
