Abstract
The phenomenon of contemporary suicide bombing has its origins and continuance in the social environment of various regions of the world. It has its origins in the complex milieu of religions, social systems, oppression, war, political systems, global and local political systems, economics and psychological and social dysfunction. It is truly a messy problem with no single solution. This paper offers an analysis of the systemic roots of the phenomenon in the contemporary world.
