Formulating Guidelines for Instructional Planning in Technology Enhanced Learning Environments Since the 1990s, the study of technology enhanced learning environments (TELE) in schools has shifted away from a focus on technology-related con- ditions (hardware, software, network infrastructure) that facilitate effective instruction to a growing interest in the way teachers think and plan for effec- tive instruction.
