Abstract
This history of the Nulsen Haven Association was commissioned by the Board of Management of the Association in order to bring together the life of our Association since its conception. This has been made possible via a number of sources which are not otherwise accessible. It was also recognised that with the passing of time there was a need to obtain information from those people who played an important part in the early years of the Association's development and operation.
This history is a factual history based on the Association's records, most notably the minutes of various Board and Committee meetings, and from interviews with a number of key people who have been and in some instances still are involved in the various developmental stages of the Association.
It is the desire of the Board of Management to commission in the near future a more comprehensive document of the Association's history which will capture the many other aspects of the Association's culture which have contributed to its development through the years but have not been included in this history.
