Adams, L., & Newman, R. (2015). inConversation: A cross-disciplinary exhibition. Imprint, 50(2), 22-23.

Abstract

The exhibition inCoversation features fourteen projects created by 54 local, national and international artists and researches from such far ranging disciplines as photography, architecture, science, e-research, performance art, viual art, music, literature and creative writing, geology, dance, film and would you believe it, local government in the form of a former mayor. Our aim as curators (authors Lyndall Adams and Renee Newman with Christopher Kueh, all from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia) was to explore the meaning of complexity in terms of the creative arts process by probing how collaboration plays out in a cross-disciplinary context.
