Photovoltaic Micro-Cell Design for Distributed Power-over-Fibre Optimized for 850nm & 980nm

We present a new study of power over optical fibre, using siliconbased photovoltaic micro-cells. The thickness of the micro-cells is optimized for incident light of 850nm and 980nm producing efficiencies of up to 43%.
