This book is a collection of interviews with children. It is intended to give the reader a glimpse of some of the ways in which children think about things. Some of the interviews are almost whimsical. Others are quite serious.
The interviews were conducted by a group of twenty student teachers during their last term of teacher training. This group of student teachers were but a small part of a much larger group of students all of whom had been given the task of interviewing a child. The purpose of the task was partly to give the students an opportunity to talk to a child on a personal, one-to-one basis.
