Abstract

There is an increasing need for institutions to prepare students to be industry ready and employable in a highly competitive hospitality and tourism industry. Evidently, there is a demand for skilled, qualified, talented and enthusiastic graduates. Concomitantly, the industry is facing a workforce gap in Australia and New Zealand to meet the increasing tourism demand. This sees educational institutions as a pivotal stakeholder in preparing their students to meet future workforce needs.
