In 2021, Edith Cowan University (ECU) celebrates its 30th anniversary. ECU Library Research Services have compiled a selection of the interesting and diverse publications created by ECU researchers since 1991. One publication has been selected from Research Online, ECU's institutional repository, for each year that ECU has existed as a university. Viewed chronologically, this collection highlights how ECU's research began from a strong background in the field of education and quickly expanded to include sciences, engineering, nursing, medical and health sciences, visual and performing arts, business and law, while maintaining a strong emphasis on ECU's values of inclusion and diversity.

The University has recently highlighted some key research priorities with the launch of ECU Strategic Research Institutes and Centres ensuring world-class research will continue to benefit the wider community.

During the last 30 years ECU also expanded to three campuses within Western Australia. While 2021 is an opportunity to celebrate the past, we also look to the University of the Future, as ECU plans for it's new city campus.

More information about each publication can be accessed on Research Online by following the URL links.
