Abstract
This project - to conceive, develop and refine a concept and pilot episode for a television drama series- is a collaboration between two writers, working to industry specifications. The brief, provided by Central TAFE in consultation with ECU and ScreenWest, was to develop a half-hour screenplay for a low budget drama series, within specified production parameters and suitable for pitching to SBS or the ABC. Central TAFE arc producing the pilot episode as part of their Drama Production program. Our thesis takes the form of a 'series bible', suitable for use as a pitching or selling tool within the television industry.
