Description
This supplementary video presents a preliminary experimental evaluation of the shape-memory behaviour of a 3D-printed polylactic acid (PLA) tubular sample. The sample was first deformed in a warm-water bath above its glass transition temperature, subsequently cooled to fix the temporary compressed shape, and then reheated to assess shape recovery. The video demonstrates the recovery of the PLA sample toward its original geometry within a few seconds, providing an initial qualitative assessment of its shape-memory effect.
