Description
This is the summary dataset of the seagrass monitoring data for Posidonia sinuosa shoot density, morphological characteristics and leaf tissue nutrients, Amphibolis antarctica leaf tissue nutrients and water quality measurements from Geographe Bay. These as well as other observations were recorded from eight locations in Geographe Bay area annually in summer over a 10-year period from 2012-2021.

Research Activity Description
This monitoring program was undertaken annually by assessing seagrass meadow health using field observations with seagrass leaf nutrient levels and isotopes. This data set is shared with the Geocatch, Water Corporation and Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions.
Methodology
Collected in the field with a combination of methods including visual counts, measurements with water quality instruments and collections of samples that were processed in the laboratory. Details of methods can be found in published reports. Links below.
