Research Activity Title

Prioritizing areas in Indonesia to conserve and enhance seagrass ecosystem functions under a changing climate

Research Activity Description

The project is funded by the 2021/2022 ANU Indonesia Project Research Grants. The research aims to 1) determine temperature thresholds and responses to temperature increases for a range of seagrass species, 2) predict the impacts of climate change on the distribution and survival of seagrasses, 3) develop a spatial model to prioritize site selection for seagrass conservation areas under climate change scenarios in Indonesia

Methodology

Field survey reports, OBIS, and JaLTER
