This book focuses exclusively on the visions and contribution of Robert (Bob) G.Peter, the first Principal, appointed to build a radically new teachers’ college, the first new tertiary institution in Australia since the end of WWII.It covers the first decade or so of the College,1970-1979.The story describes how Bob Peter based his visions on modern educational thought and practices and how he enthused his selected foundation staff to work with public works department architects to incorporate these new ideas in the design and building of this new tertiary institution.
