Abstract
This paper involves results from computer assisted simulations and predictions focused on thrust and torque trends and values used for comparison of the effects of three popular coatings on the technological machining performance of drilling operations. In particular, the three coatings considered include the common titanium nitride (TiN) and the two more recent coatings, namely Ti(C, N) and Ti(Al, N).
