Abstract
Laptop artist Thembi Soddell, sound designer Camilla Hannan and guitarist Lisa MacKinney investigate stasis as a way to transcend the expected and to reach out beyond traditional music codes. The content and machinations of their music, its roots in electroacoustic or rock traditions are reflected in their performances.
