E-commerce adoption and evaluation in Australian organisations

Abstract
Considerable emphasis has been placed in the benefits of ecommerce tor the Australian economy however many Australian organizations have generally been slow to adopt a-commerce. Of those organizations who do invest in ecommerce few are undertaking evaluation of their purchase and its implementation. Building on a recent survey of Australian organizations and the current literature the authors discuss ecommerce adoption and evaluation for organizations in general and make some comment on issues relating directly to both SMEs and larger Australian org1enizations.
