Abstract
The biennial meeting of the Australasian Quaternary Association (AQUA) took place on 6 - 10 December 2004, at Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. As at previous AQUA meetings I have attended, the absence of other archaeologists was regretted, although Richard Cosgrove did deliver one of the keynote addresses; a masterly overview of the Tasmanian archaeological record, placing it in its climatic context
