Abstract

Urban tourism takes an eminent position in all forms of tourism. This study took Shanghai as an example to identify the push and pull motivating factors of domestic urban tourists. The results of multiple regression analysis suggest that there is a significant relationship between motivation factors and tourists' satisfaction, their intention to come back, and their likelihood of recommending Shanghai to their relatives and friends.
