Abstract
The Year 8 Teaching and Learning Handbook includes information and strategies to help teachers to enhance social skills in the classroom environment. Each handbook includes learning activities about how to reduce and prevent bullying, with a strong emphasis on resilience, positive communication, self-management and social responsibility.
Each handbook comprises:
• 10 learning activities called 'modules'.
• Background notes that outline how each Unit is linked to bullying and information that will aid teacher understanding of the topic;
• Teachers' notes which provide strategies for teaching bullying prevention effectively; and
• Additional resources.
