Abstract
Rural students face many problems that do not necessarily confront their city counterparts. Education is a process that carries strong economies of scale. It is economical in instances where resources and facilities can be shared. It is very much resource based and much of the quality of educational programmes is derived from the resources and facilities that support the teaching/learning programme.
