Abstract

Overall, Into Performance constitutes a fine narrative introduction to the careers of five Japano-American Fluxus artists of the 1960s. Yoshimoto's limited and critically unsophisticated approach amply demonstrates, however, that more work needs to be done on these and other related topics within the history of avant gardisme.
