Abstract

The paper focuses on a study concerning the importance of selecting the right wave to be able to effectively execute high-scoring aerial manoeuvers in competitive surfing. The study has examined the wave scores from three World Championship Tour (WCT) competitions in order to determine if there is a difference between the scores of an aerial is included in the selection of manoeuvers. An overview of the study is presented.
