Shells of the genera Metalycaeus and Dicharax from Bhutan are identified or described as representing new species. For Metalycaeus 6 species are recognized, 4 of which are known from Bhutan only and considered new to science, viz. M. geduensis E. Gittenberger & Sherub, spec. nov., M. karmademaae E. Gittenberger, Choki Gyeltshen & Kezang Tobgay, spec. nov. M. posteriobulbus E. Gittenberger & Sherub, spec. nov. and M. umbidistinctus E. Gittenberger & Choki Gyeltshen, spec. nov. In the more speciose genus Dicharax 16 species are classified, 12 of which as endemic and new to science, viz. D. aspidentatus E. Gittenberger, Choki Gyeltshen & Sherub, spec. nov., D. sajodentatus E. Gittenberger & Choki Gyeltshen, spec. nov., D. zhemdentatus E. Gittenberger & Choki Gyeltshen, spec. nov., D. umbiclausus E. Gittenberger, Choki Gyeltshen & Kezang Tobgay, spec. nov., D. trashidentatus E. Gittenberger, Choki Gyeltshen & Kezang Tobgay, spec. nov., D. vitreus E. Gittenberger & Kezang Tobgay, spec. nov., D. crassipalatum E. Gittenberger & Sherub, spec. nov., D. bhucarinatus E. Gittenberger & Sherub, spec. nov., D. bhudepressus E. Gittenberger, Choki Gyeltshen & Kezang Tobgay, spec. nov., D. bjiminaensis E. Gittenberger & Choki Gyeltshen, spec. nov., D. vanderbijli E. Gittenberger & Choki Gyeltshen, spec. nov., D. lunabulbus E. Gittenberger, Choki Gyeltshen & Kezang Tobgay, spec. nov. An identification key is provided for all Bhutanese Metalycaeus and Dicharax species.
