Abstract

Although research related to the readiness of employees to adopt technology and its influence on performance logistics have been conducted quite a lot, its application in a halal logistics perspective is very rarely done. This study investigates the relationship between the readiness of employees to adopt technology in halal meat retail and manufacturing industry on halal logistic performance. In this article, quantitative research was undertaken by collecting data from a random sampling data of 75 respondents working in Indonesian halal meat manufacturing and retail industry. Descriptive and inter-correlation analysis using SmartPLS were applied to determine the extent to which employees’ readiness to adopt technology in halal meat retailing and manufacturing industries affected halal logistics performance. The results of this study show that the halal logistics performance in the halal meat retail and manufacturing industry is influenced by the readiness of employees to adopt the technology.
