Teaching of safe practices to our undergraduates
Abstract
Since the release of the US Institute of Medicine, To Err is Human report in 2000, healthcare providers, accreditation bodies, quality advisors and educators have toiled to incorporate safety for the patient and the healthcare provider as part of the healthcare arena. Regardless of their work, patient safety remains an ongoing issue in healthcare.
