Four-wave-mixing-based silicon integrated optical isolator with dynamic non-reciprocity [conference paper]

Abstract

A silicon integrated optical isolator with dynamic non-reciprocity based on the four-wave-mixing nonlinear effect is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Measurement results show that > 17 dB isolation ratio and < ; 12 dB insertion loss can be achieved.
