Abstract

We believe that accessible design is always going to be an afterthought at best, and that a new approach is needed to allow people with disabilities to interact flexibly in an inflexible world. This chapter proposes the concept of interface casting, whereby any electrically controlled environment or device can broadcast digital information regarding its operation to mobile devices such as phones and tablets.
