Abstract
The Workforce Competency Based Training Project (Project) is an innovative response to the growing awareness in the professional community of the need to upskill those working with infants, young children and their families. The workforce ranges from those providing services in preventative health and support agencies to those delivering clinical interventions. The Project has its genesis in collaboration between the Western Australian Mental Health Commission (MHC) and the Australian Association for Infant Mental Health West Australian Branch Incorporated (AAIMHI WA).
