Abstract
My-Gration is a visual artwork made for an invited international exhibition entitled Migration & Empathy at the Bursa Museum of Migration History, Turkey during December 2017. Curated by Reyhani Akan, the exhibition involved 100 artists from 20 countries. The visual research investigated the broader meaning of the word migration and how this has become politicised in the context of shifting diasporas and socio-political conflict.
