She is focussed on the development of library services to meet the needs of 21st century students, teachers and researchers. She is interested in leadership and the professional development of library staff.

Gordon McIntyre, Edith Cowan University

Gordon McIntyre is a librarian in the Research Services team at Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Perth, Western Australia. Gordon has previously worked as a subject librarian in the area of Education and Arts at ECU. Gordon is involved in repository management, library-led publishing, as well as in the quantitative assessment of research impact through the application of bibliometrics. Gordon is interested in open access as well as trends in the assessment of research impact, including the burgeoning field of altmetrics.

Julia Gross, Edith Cowan University

Julia Gross is academic librarian, researcher and educator based in Perth, Western Australia. Julia’s experience is in information services as well as in teaching, learning and research in tertiary education. Her research areas are Web 2.0 and emerging technologies, career development and training of librarians, information literacy, usability studies, measuring research impact and bibliometrics, research data management, digital repositories, and partnerships with libraries in developing countries.
