Role Balance and Working Women with Multigenerational Caring Responsibilities
Description
I commissioned the visualisation project, as I felt my research findings on role balance for working women could be illustrated in a more engaging manner than the written word. I hoped for a series of professional images, using a consistent character, for use in presentations, printed materials and commercial applications. These images refer to the popular metaphor of juggling to describe the concept of role balance but still taking time to smell the roses. The character is dressed in a business suit with a frilly apron to represent the balance between work and family responsibilities. (PhD, School of Exercise and Health Sciences)
