Abstract

There are seven articles in this In Focus collection that explores the application of resilient environmental technologies for waste utilization and resource recovery. Two of the articles have conducted research on the adsorption studies to capture carbon and phenol. One article deals with waste to energy. Another three articles provide information on waste to resources where one of them shows how to produce enzymes and value-added products, another two investigate bioplastic production from different sources. The last article explores the biological treatment efficiency of saline wastewater. The take home messages from those articles are summarized below for a quick read.
