Abstract

Managing travel and jet lag is extremely important for athletes as well as for business travelers and even those going on vacation. In the context of this chapter, we will take a closer look at travel and jet lag in athletic populations. This includes elite athletes, Olympians, amateur, and recreational athletes participating in both individual- and team-based activities.
