Abstract
Security as an occupational discipline has long used technological advancements to enhance its efforts in the protection of assets against the malicious actions which pose a risk to objectives. In the contemporary era, such technological developments include advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, many individuals within the security sector describe AI beyond its technical capabilities, resulting in misunderstandings in functionality, opportunities for advancement, and knowledge gaps in risks associated with such development.
