Abstract
This paper explores the idea - and initial research -of producing site-specific radio art soundcompositionsutilizing synchronous stratified andpluralistic binaural location recordings. Itinvestigates how an extended sense of sound, spaceand place is encoded in the interface of the two stereorecordings and its use as the basis to form a newwork. From the motive behind the work's concept, documentation of the new work (Alien In TheLandscape) to suggestions for further research anddevelopment are discussed.
